Streampal.tv is the website for Streampal, a desktop application for content creators streaming on Twitch and TikTok. References to "we", "us", or "our" refer to Streampal.tv and its operators. Questions about this policy can be sent to [email protected].

Streampal is a desktop app. It does not send your personal data to our servers. The following information is accessed by the app and stored locally on your computer only:

Your Twitch user ID, display name, and profile picture, obtained when you connect your Twitch account via OAuth2. This is stored in the app on your computer.

Your Twitch OAuth2 access token, used to authenticate requests to the Twitch API on your behalf. This is stored locally and never transmitted to Streampal servers.

Twitch chat messages in your channel, read in real time to power song requests and any other features you have enabled. Messages are processed locally and not stored persistently.

TikTok Live chat messages, gift events, and like events in your stream, read in real time for the same purpose. These are processed locally and not stored persistently.

Song request queue data, including track titles, artists, and the usernames of requesting viewers. This exists in memory while the app is running and is not sent to us.

Your Spotify OAuth2 access token and currently playing track information, if you connect your Spotify account. This is used to display now-playing data on your stream overlay. It is stored locally on your computer and is not transmitted to Streampal servers.

We do not collect analytics, telemetry, or crash reports from the desktop app at this time.

To connect your Twitch account, Streampal uses the standard OAuth2 authorisation flow. During this flow, your browser is redirected to Twitch, where you grant the app permission to access your account. Twitch then issues an access token which is stored locally on your computer by the app.

This flow may involve a brief redirect through a Streampal-hosted endpoint to receive the authorisation code from Twitch. We do not log, store, or retain any data from this redirect beyond completing the handshake.

The permissions Streampal requests from Twitch are limited to what is needed to read your chat messages and display your stream information. We do not request permission to post messages, moderate your channel, or access any information beyond what is necessary for the features you use.

Streampal connects to TikTok Live to read chat messages, gift events, and like events during your streams. This connection is made directly from the desktop app. No TikTok data is routed through or stored on Streampal servers.

This integration is not officially endorsed by TikTok and may be subject to changes in TikTok's platform at any time.

All data used by Streampal is stored locally on your computer in the application's data directory. This includes your Twitch credentials, app settings, and any configuration you have set up.

We do not operate databases containing your personal information. We cannot access, view, or recover data stored on your computer.

The Streampal.tv website does not require you to log in or create an account. It does not use tracking cookies or collect personal information from visitors.

In the future, it will be possible to optionally link your desktop app to this website using a code generated in the app. This will enable features such as a public profile page. When that feature is available, this policy will be updated to reflect what data is shared and how it is handled.

Streampal integrates with Twitch, TikTok, and Spotify. Your use of those platforms is governed by their own privacy policies and terms of service. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or officially connected to Twitch, TikTok, Spotify, or any of their parent companies.

Spotify is an optional connection. If you choose to connect it, Streampal uses the Spotify API solely to read your currently playing track. Your Spotify credentials and track data are stored locally on your computer. We do not access your Spotify library, playlists, or listening history.

Streampal is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. Since all data stays on your device, there is minimal risk, but if you are under 13 please ensure you have parental permission before using the app.

We may update this Privacy Policy as the product evolves, particularly when new features are introduced that change how data is handled. When we do, we will update the date at the top of this page.
